I ordered the new Beyond beef burrito ( way too stoked that they have this option now, good job Chronic ). I got it delivered and called and yelled at the guy because the meat was so realistic that I thought they sent me the wrong order. Turns out it was Beyond and I'm just an ass hole. Delicious burrito. Do recommend.

I had a pretty good experience here. The service was friendly and the food was alright. I came in for a small meal and decided on the carne asada taco and the breakfast taco with bacon, which they serve all day). The carne asada taco was about $3.49 (since carne asada was a 50 cent upcharge) and the breakfast taco was about $2.99. You have the option of corn or flour tortilla with the breakfast taco and either bacon or chorizo for the meat. It also came with an egg and cheese. I opted for a mixed cheddar cheese and Oaxaca cheese for my breakfast taco. Both tacos came with 2 tortillas each, which was a bit much, but one tortilla held against the meat well.
The tacos were pretty mediocre on the good end, not out of this world deliciousness, but I was satisfied nonetheless. There was also a Yelp check-in offer for free chips and guac (about 2 oz of guac), so that was a nice add on.
There were lots of options here, and it was a good place for a large group. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Chronic, but if I was hungry and saw one, I would stop in for a clean meal. Credit cards are accepted here and bathrooms were clean. -

It was disappointingly mediocre. Food wasn't bad but it wasn't good either, it reminded me of good campus food, but not worth what we paid.
I got a burrito, it was huge but there was barely any meat and it was just packed with fries. The guacamole didn't have any flavor either so it was just like eating goo.
Staff is pretty friendly but there's a lot of them in the tiny restaurant. It gets pretty packed after 2-3 parties enter. -

This should be called Salt Tacos. The first time I ate chicken tacos at tseveral months ago, they were inedible due to their insane salt content. I tried it again today, thinking maybe it had just been a bad day. Nope. Still Salt Tacos. Take a tip from your sister store on Chapman Avenue in Orange. Their tacos are choice. Every time. I'll never eat at the Irvine ChronicTacos again. No one needs a $10 plate of salt.
TO CLARIFY: It's the Irvine Chronic Tacos that needs to back off the salt content of its chicken. I became very sick after posting the review above.
The Chronic Tacos on Chapman in Orange is PERFECTION! -

Honestly this is my first time in here, always heard about it but now that I've tried it, I can honestly say it remains me of another Fresh-Mex. Restaurant chain. It's small in there, enough seating for about 40 people and gender friendly bathrooms are clean. Fair prices but watch out for the "added ingredients"....they do add up!! Plus free refills on sodas.
